Opening and Closing of School Due to Inclement Weather

 

If it is necessary to close school because of extreme weather conditions, announcements will be made over the following television stations beginning at 6:00 a.m. on the day concerned or sooner if possible.


WCBD - Channel 2
WCIV - Channel 4
WCSC - Channel 5


 School Delay

When a 6:00 a.m. announcement is made that school opening will be delayed, no principal or teacher will be at the school until the announced time.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL UNTIL THE OPENING TIME.
